Pro Volt Engineering Services

I don't often leave reviews, but Richard, Jeff and the team at Pro Volt did such great work and just impressed me overall that they deserved this credit. I had a new consumer unit fitted along with spot lights in the kitchen and some sockets throughout the house. The communications from start to finish we fantastic. Any question or slight changes I required were dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner. We even had to make some changes on the day of insulation and Richard was able to accommodate the necessary alterations easily. After an unexpected fault on one of the old sockets, which was tripping the new fuse box. The guys were able to arrange leaving me with power while coming back the following day and rectifying the issue. Their knowledge, friendliness and professionalism means I will definitely be using them in the near future, when the never ending home improvements continue, thanks lads!

Couldn’t have asked for better service from all the boys at Provolt. We had recently purchased a new house with very old electrics throughout. We initially thought we would have to rewrire the entire house however it was suggested by Provolt we have all of the electrics tested first. The boys completed the testing in one day and thankfully we didn’t need a full rewrire which certainly saved us money. We then had the report from the testing which was completed very quickly. This highlighted all of the remedial work we need doing and Provolt provided a very reasonable quote for this work. We had new sockets in all bedrooms and the landing, new fuse box and secondary fuse box in our outbuildings, new earth rod, outside lights installed, etc. All work was completed to a very high standard and the boys explained every piece of work they were completing. They were very honest about the level of mess that’s typical with electrical work but tried to minimise this wherever possible. They would double check and confirm what we wanted with certain aspects of work, I.e specific location of sockets, so the completed work was exactly what we wanted. They would also explain clearly if certain aspects of work had to be adjusted to make them possible. The work took approx 2 weeks and we were left with power every evening and the boys would always summarise what had been done at the end of each working day. We had a couple of sockets stop working a few days after the boys had finished, they came back out within 24 hours and fixed the issue (blown fuse not relating to any of their work) but we were so grateful that they came to double check so quickly. They made the whole process of having electrical work done stress free and will certainly be recommending their services to others.

Outstanding service. We wanted to have some lights in the garden as well as a light and a socket fitted in the garage. Richard advised us how it could be done and gave us a few ideas which fitted into our plan. We really appreciated how helpful and honest he was as we did not know much about this. We are very happy with the result! We will be doing some light fittings in our kitchen and bathrooms in the near future and we will definitely contact Pro Volt again.

Pro Volt stepped in when our electrician let us down last minute for our kitchen renovation. From the time we reached out by messenger on Facebook, to being quoted in person, they were professional and punctual. The costs were brilliant and I cannot praise the work enough. Our plasterer was very happy to see the quality of the wall and ceiling channeling was done correct making his job to plaster much easier. The whole team were friendly, informative and always kept the area clean even though our kitchen has been a building site for weeks! Thank you for the amazing quality work, we will be using you again in the future.
