Allan James Photography

We've been lucky enough to have a couple of photo shoots with Allan. Not only is his work fantastic but he really engages with the children. He has a unique ability to capture personality. Technical and artistic composition are beautifully balanced in images I will treasure forever. In fact, he's so good we have family travelling 170 miles just to work with him! When an image brings a tear to your eye you know it's special!

We have had a few family photo shoots with Allan now, and are keen to make it a regular thing to get a snapshot of the children growing up. The photos are beautiful, and very reasonably priced. Just as important is that the experience is fun and Allan puts the kids (and adults) totally at ease, so we always look forward to the photo shoots, and the shots captured are breathtaking!

All 4 of my children Model/Act we needed new headshots and some Fine Art pictures we discussed with Allan exactly what was required and he used his experience and expertise to produce some amazing pictures. He has a way of entertaining children that makes them feel at ease and this combined with his amazing and very impressive super camera resulted in beautiful images with a level of detail and clarity that I’ve never seen before. Would not hesitate to recommend Allan James for all your photography needs. A lovely lovely man x

Top photographer! He's really passionate about photography and is clearly very technically minded, knowing exactly how to capture you and your family perfectly. I've had several photo shoots with Allan and I'm very impressed with the sharpness and clarity that he achieves. I've had many canvasses and prints from Allan too, again I was amazed at the quality of them. I can't wait for the next photo shoot! I highly recommend!

A lovely session with Allan as he captured a variety of shots of my two children in their martial arts kit. I’m delighted with the outcome, he was able to get them smiling naturally and looking serious, when needed, to create some lovely photographs.
