Can't recommend these guys highly enough. Had another company lined up to do my move, who then went to ground when I finally got my completion date, not answering e.mails etc. Decided to make the switch to Matthews and Sons - so glad I did. Jonathan came out the same afternoon to quote me - friendly, helpful and reassuring, just what you need at a fairly stressful time! Felt completely comfortable handing over a set of keys, and the move was handedly seamlessly - Martin did a wonderful job of packing up the first day, then he and Jonathan moved the larger furniture out the second day - clearing the house half an hour before the time that had been estimated. Such a relief to deal with such professionals, and Joanne in the office is also super efficient, getting back promptly with any queries. You can't go wrong using this company in my view.

We moved house from Cardiff to Pembrokeshire in 2019. After a few quotes from various removal companies Matthews & Son were by far the best in terms of professionalism & knowing their game. On first meeting Jonathan knew exactly how to approach our slightly complicated move out West. We had a good feeling about him & felt confident that he'd get the job done smoothly. The moving process could have not gone better - bang on time arriving at both properties, professional, courteous & a good sense of humour - required when moving house! The team worked so hard and went above & beyond for us. The quote they gave was good value, and we got the best service that we could have wished for. We would highly recommend this company, they have the knowledge, a great attitude and the correct trucks/equipment & know-how to get the job done.

These people gave me an exceptional service at a very reasonable price. I hadn't moved house for 30 years and was pondering if I could do it myself. 2 and a half large lorries later we were on the road with Matthews and Son. I was rather bemused by my hopeless miscalculation. It was 3 days of loading. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided boxes, blankets to protect paintings movable wardrobes for the clothes. Not only that, but they were very nice people. Mature men doing the work with care. No hesitation in recommending them.

I don't do this very often, but feel I have to share how great our experience was with Matthews & sons removals this week. They really put us at ease at every step of the way. Nothing was a problem. A great professional service. By the end of the day Jonathan and the team felt like family. We would highly recommend them! 👌
