The Star Inn - Treoes

By far the best the Star has been for food over the last 10 years. Honestly no comparison between current and previous owners for food quality. Excellent head chef and not just "pub grub" meals/quality. Very good variety of food and excellent service.

It has been 4 years since I have been back to this place. Food was great. Had the meat sharing platter for starter followed by boar and chorizo pie and fished off with a lemon cheesecake. Wife had brie, cranberry and mushroom Wellington then cremebrulee. The food was very nice and showered the staff.

A varied menu with a good pie selection, seasonal specials and traditional favourites. Good portions and good value. Service is friendly and helpful. Recommended for a relaxed meal in traditional surroundings.

Amazing place! Stunning food, happy staff. A little on the pricey side but worth it for the treat. I heard the car park is a nightmare but we went on a Friday night and had no issues.

Service was great - friendly and helpful. Also swiftly replaced a dirty glass But the food was disappointment, the beef being filled with carrot which wasn't even mentioned in the description.
