We loved working with john on our extension in brighton. he's fizzing with smart ideas, brings a reassuring depth of experience, but he's also simply fun to work with, which makes a huge difference. our project threw up a number of tricky curve-balls - both in terms of budget and restrictive planning permission in a conservation area. but john guided us through it with professionalism and good humour. i can't recommend him highly enough.

Highly recommend john who did a great job for us with a long desired extension that we thought had a slim chance of passing planning permission. john's breadth of experience and very smart logic is matched by his creative vision and excellent advice. we've ended up with a transformation way beyond what we originally hoped for thanks to john. he's straight-talking, indulges the most basic of questions with good humour and charm and did an absolutely brilliant job of getting us through the planning permission stage with great success and minimum stress. he cares about the project from start to finish so would pop by even when not on the clock, its the best experience we've had to date.

John is a terrific architect and a great guy to boot. he was enthused about our project right from the first meeting and listened carefully throughout to every idea we had, incorporating whatever was possible into the final design. we chose to go the architect-lead design route for our renovation and extension in hove, not only to have a well-functioning home, but in order to instil a sense of wonder and fun into our property and john has delivered on all fronts. every stage of renovating or building a house is stressful, so it really helps to have an architect on board who is easy to communicate with and that you can have a laugh with. this turns out to be just as important as the high quality and detailed work he produces. in summary, can’t recommend his services enough.
