Love From Luisa Cakes

Where do I start. Luisa is incredibly talented. Her cakes are just absolutely superb. Luisa made my wedding cake and I was so excited when I did the caking tasting. The flavours and the texture I have never had in a cake before. Unfortunately I barely got to eat much of my wedding cake as it was rushed by ppl. I got a lot of messages saying wow your cake, your cake, who made it. Where is it from. But made up for the lack of eating my wedding cake as Luisa made myself and my twin bday cake. I nearly cried. I love cake and used to have a relationship with cake but it was more of a one-sided one but it doesn’t move me to tears. Luisa’s cake and design does. I don’t like my cake sweet and Luisa’s is the perfect sweetness especially that buttercream. It’s so silky and delicious. One would not think they were eating buttercream. Luisa is an artist with cake making. Her signature design with the dried fruit so delicious to eat. It ain’t sweet. It’s just delicious and not sweet (so one isn’t thinking sugar calories cause it’s fruit so part of your one a day and not sweet like those dried fruit in the stores. Na this is incredible). I had eaten one quarter of the design before cutting the cake. I haven’t got my wedding photos yet so don’t have a photo of the wedding cake. I feel incredibly blessed to have known about Luisa. Please please anyone thinking of wedding cake, birthday cakes, cakes for events and cake just cause you want cake and your metabolism allows for it please look no further than Luisa. You wouldn’t be disappointed. By far the best cake artist I know.

For my birthday I got a beautiful surprise - a cake made by Luisa! She delivered it to the front door early in the morning, so my day started great. The cake was flavoured chai latte and decorated with fresh flowers and pampas grass, it tasted so good - we all ate two days from it! I love how passionate she is about her work and our next birthday cakes will be for sure, made by Luisa.

Luisa created the most beautiful and delicious vegan wedding cake we could have asked for! The process was brilliant, she took our brief and answered it better than we could have expected. Highly recommend!

As soon as I found Luisa I knew she was the perfect person to bake our wedding cake. She helped build excitement for the big day by sending us a tasting box six months ahead of time, from which we selected the flavours for our three tiers. Each cake was beautifully moist, the flavours fresh and distinct, and Luisa worked closely with our florist to make sure they looked incredible, too. We couldn't be happier. Highly, highly recommend!
