I last worshipped here in 1998 -how sadly it has almost slipped into disuse - as has st joseph's. so many churches in danger of closing - and with no clergy...
A beautiful church - the inside is fantastic with some lovely murals and paintings. a good size and not too far from the main shopping areas. still wanted face masks and signing in (oct 2021), just a shame that covid has made everyone less welcoming of strangers.
Easy parking and navigation available.
Very ornate church, good size congregation, our first mass here. we were in brighton for the marathon.
I spent the early months of 2006 living and working in brighton my sunday morning stroll to morning mass was a lovely calming experience in a atmospheric beautiful church full of history. high time i returned and paid an overdue visit
