We had a really exceptionally positive experience with Arka. The family was naturally a bit overwhelmed and for me and my sister it was our first time having to organise a funeral - we were worried it would all be very stiff and awkward and we would get pushed to make decisions - but Sarah and Cara guided us through every moment gently and patiently, giving us space or time or advice or whatever we needed. The funeral itself took place during the height of the Corona lockdown and they also dealt with this very professionally, somehow preserving the intimacy of the occasion while strictly observing all the hygiene protocols. I think it is this balance of professionalism with warmth and humanity that sets Arka apart. While I hope we don't need their services again for a long time, I would recommend them to anyone who does.

The ARKA funeral service for our Harry which took place last July 2020 was nothing less than perfect. They were gentle and caring the whole time and looked after every aspect of the day. Arka are honestly amazing, the girls there are so empathetic and truly want to give you the best experience in such a sad time. ARKA were absolutely wonderful after my son died abroad suddenly . They were involved in his repatriation and were incredibly empathetic and respectful during this terribly traumatic time for myself and my family. These warm and compassionate ladies dealt with every aspect of the process professionally. The reception area and room where you can spend time saying goodbye to your loved one are beautifully calm spaces. My son was treated with such care and dignity, as were we. Every aspect of the organisation of the funeral was sensitively taken care of and I can’t thank ARKA enough for guiding us through, we felt safe in their hands.
