We've been using Ben and his team to do our lawn and cut our hedges for the past few years. Exemplary service, extremely reliable, and he's a thoroughly decent young man.

Ben and his team are professional and always do a great job keeping our lawn under control. The system they have in place for booking and invoicing makes it easy to ensure you never miss out on a regular cut, with minimum fuss. Would highly recommend :)

I contacted Ben as my newly laid lawn was looking patchy and brown, not quite the look I was expecting. Ben explained it could be due to the soil being too compacted, possibly due to previous building work or just being poorly laid. Ben advised a programme of aerating, over seeding, regular watering and quarterly treatments. Following the aeration and over seeding, I followed instructions to water daily. At first it looked a bit worse, which Ben said would be the case. Ben then came back a few months later to treat the lawn, and in only 3 months from Ben’s first visit it’s looking great. I now have the thick, green lawn I was expecting! I honestly thought it was a lost cause so I’m thrilled it’s been saved, and at a reasonable cost! I’ll definitely continue to use the Turf Smurf in future. A great and honest service!

We hit the jackpot when my regular gardener said our lawn problems were beyond her and we should call in Ben. He came the week I called, diagnosed the problem (chafer- grubs and leather jackets) and came 2 weeks later (early April) to start the treatment. In the end it was worse than we thought and the entire lawn had to be removed and re-seeded - the local birds had a field day with the grubs. The photos show the stages - under fleece for 2 weeks, the first few weeks, the top up seeding (Ben came on bank holiday), as it thickened up and then this morning after the first cut. 2 months start to finish and we now have a lawn to rival Wimbledon centre court. Cheap at the price and as easy as you like. All we had to do (and it is important to follow the instruction, the nematodes die if they are not kept wet) was water. The best money we've spent in decades.
