Una Organic Ltd. (Office not showroom)

I confirm that the 100 night free trial is real. i was fully refunded. there were no extra charges (e.g. for return postage). i was impressed with the mattress even though i could not get used to it. therefore, 5 stars. i ordered the delux mattress. this is una's most expensive mattress, with 3 layers. as i went for the (euro) single size, there were 3 layers with identical dimensions (with some larger sizes, i believe the third layer is slightly thinner, and there is an extra fourth layer). i was initially a bit confused with the dpd delivery (two separate deliveries on different days), but it was actually fine and reasonably fast. i was impressed with the mattress and the cover (i.e. 100% cotton fabric of the mattress that is zipped around the 3 layers of latex foam). once assembled, it is very heavy, which is perhaps a sign of good quality. i assume many will really like it. however, after persevering for about 60 days, i just could not get used to it. to return the mattress during the trial period, you have to re-roll the layers of foam and get them back into the original two boxes. this is actually very difficult, as two of the layers go in one box, and i am fairly sure they were vacuum packed on the outward delivery. i would argue that you need 2-3 people, and a lot of effort. i wonder how many people actually manage this, or whether most end up having to request an extra box, which i believe is not free. nevertheless, we got the layers back in! the box with two layers in expanded quite a lot. una arranged collection via dpd. the first collection failed because the driver said he didn't have space in his van. he apparently also claimed that the customer (i.e. me) said the package was not ready for collection, which is not true, but perhaps that is his only option. dpd did not come back to collect it and i had to request collection again via una. the second collection was successful, and after a few days, i was fully refunded. overall, i was pleased, as i wasn't sure if the trial period would actually be honoured. hopefully, this review is one data point that might help those who are on the fence.

Update: una organic ltd admitted that my issues were not their typical customer experience. they sent me two packets of latex flakes to fill the pillow and issued an apology and full refund. i am now sleeping quite comfortably, as the pillow is more supportive and the proper height. i must commend una organic ltd for taking ownership of the issue and rectifying it. one star is for good customer service. it would have been zero stars otherwise. ordered a pillow on 29th november 2022 and was advised of a 3-4 week delivery estimate. after 6 weeks, i contacted una organic ltd. they informed me that they were dealing with a christmas backlog and the pillow would be with me shortly. after 8 weeks i rang the company and they said it would be out for delivery by the end of the week and the delay was due to staffing issues and christmas backlog. i got a text from dpd to say my pillow would be delivered to an address in mayo. i live in dublin so no use to me. i rang dpd immediately but they said a change of address would have to come from una. i rang una who couldn't figure out how that address was generated. i gave them my proper address and they pointed out the eircode was not the same. my address autofills whenever i input my house number so i don't know where that came from, however it was still the same postal district, so it would have reached me sooner than an address in mayo. after a few more hiccups, i eventually took delivery of the pillow, 10 weeks after the order. the box was a bit ragged looking but thought nothing of it. when i opened it the paper wrapping on the pillow was opened. when i looked at the pillow itself, it looked very flat and not very supportive. in the box was another small pack of flakes, which i added. this did not seem to make much of a difference. lay on it for about 6 hours, but it was absolutely useless. no support, way too low for a side sleeper and just uncomfortable. again, i contacted una organic. i was told that the pillow should be packed robustly and there may have been a problem in production. i was asked if i wanted to wait another week for more flakes to be sent out to me. at this stage 11-12 weeks for a, hopefully, satisfactory pillow was just more than i was willing to put up with. very disappointed. so i am returning the "pillow" before i lose any more sleep. customer service (naomi) is great but unfortunately severely let down by the product.

I bought a single deluxe mattress because i can't cope with synthetic and liked the idea of the versatility of this one. i am ver pleased with my purchase and now buying a second one for my guest bed so that my guests of any weight and size will be comfortable too.

I’m very pleased with my una mattress. it’s supremely comfortable, and i’m sleeping much better. it was relatively easy to put together, and could be taken upstairs and sorted by one person if needed.

We have a hard mattress and so bought the una topper, what a great decision, we love the new topper. its much softer and supportive, we both are sleeping much better and no longer wake up in the morning with stiff and achey arms and hips.
