Another excellent meal. Great , friendly service. Good value. The mixed bean salad was so tasty and the ribeye was perfectly cooked.

Really enjoyed this new restaurant that provides reasonably priced dishes, freshly cooked. There is a small open kitchen at the back, and a small number of tables. The menu is short, which is a good thing, as they concentrate on fresh ingredients - this is one reason you might have to wait a while for your order, so not a fast-food place. Relax and enjoy the fresh surroundings, friendly and efficient waiting staff, and large windows onto the busy street. We will return soon.

A wonderful meal and great service. The our starter, hummus, was the best that I have ever had…smooth and a bit spicy. Great! We had an order of the catch of the day…sea bream. A whole fish served with salad and roasted potatoes. We also had an order of grilled lemon and garlic chicken…grilled boneless chicken thighs, seasoned rice and salad. This was far more food than I could eat. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

In a break from my usual tradition of Thai food Tuesday, I decided to opt for a steak. The Yelken is close to where I live and my partner loves Mediterranean food so off we went. This restaurant is tiny but intimate and clean. Staff were friendly when we entered. The menu is good, portions were generous and there is also a 'Specials' board. I had the ribeye steak and chips and my partner ate just a salad. We paid £35 for the two of us which included a glass of wine each. At the end of the meal we were given a complimentary cup of tea and some Turkish delight which was a nice touch. Nothing to complain about, good little restaurant, good food, good service, will go again.

Cosy and friendly restaurant, with authentic Mediterranean food. Staff is super friendly, the prices are very reasonable (we spent £56 for two people), and the food is excellent. My husband said it was the best hummus he’s ever had! We will definitely go back

The perfect place for a lovely breakfast, with lots of choices and friendly staff. We had the Mediterranean breakfast. Neither of us could finish our food as portions generous. Friendly service and on a Saturday morning, food came out surprisingly quickly. Can't wait to try more on the menu!
