Magdalena Smolarska Photography

I had the most amazing photo shoot with Magadalena in December at her new and exclusive location in Amersham, Bucks. I had been prepared to travel to Brighton but when she said she was going to be in a place right on my doorstep I jumped at the chance. The setting was a super modern luxury house near woodland so I got a range of locations in one. Magdalena is an absolute joy to work with. She has a real talent for understanding what you want from a shoot, combined with a tremendous technical ability to to take great pictures. Before the shoot, we talked about what pictures I already had and what I wanted to portray and she really thought about pictures and series of pictures that tell stories. I wanted to look more glamorous than my normal scruffy work gear to show more about me as a person and had no idea what to wear. I have put on a lot of weight recently and didn't feel at all glamorous but I took half my wardrobe and she picked out outfits that suited me and fitted in with the products I took with me. We changed hairstyles and props as well as clothes, (and that included the loan of her husband!) resulting in a fabulous array of pictures that are really going to help me going forward in my business. She helped me feel relaxed and at ease and this came through in the photos. Magadalena's gift is to be able to see in you what you can't necessarily see for yourself and to bring out your personality in the shoot. Worth every single penny!

Magdalena is very professional, a very talented photographer with an artistic eye and a really lovely person. I’m very camera shy and never take a good photo. She helped me to relax and laugh and the photos she took were brilliant. I couldn’t be happier!

Magdalena is absolutely wonderful! She made me feel so welcome and relaxed from the second I met her. We had a fabulous photoshoot in the Brighton city centre, where we visited tons of beautiful locations. Then we went to Magdalena’s studio which is simply stunning.
