Brighton Shellfish & Oyster Bar

Very friendly staff, seafood was decent and it was a comfortable experience. Simple and straight to the point, worked for me! The crab was very good - I love that they kept the claws in, the muscles and prawns were also very good. I did try the lobster tail but it wasn't for me, that's just personal preferences though. Otherwise, I'd say it's worth a visit!

This is everything you would except from an establishment of this kind. I got cockles, whelks, oysters and a lobster roll. All very fresh which came to £21. I loved the condiment stand where you can marinate your shellfish whichever way you like! There was 4 different vinegars to chose from! They offer ice packs for takeaway but as I was close by they didn’t give me one for my bits I got after eating there. You can’t come to the seaside and not get cockles with lashings of vinegar & you won’t be disappointed!

Very fresh and good deal, just near the sea so you can have them while enjoying the view. One box of mixed seafood is proper for two ppl. Anchovies&olives are so good, we even packed two boxes before back to London. Enjoyable!

I had the pleasure of dining at a seaside kiosk and tried their famous crab and lobster rolls. I have to say, they were both incredibly fresh and delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were top-notch. The crab meat was sweet and juicy, while the lobster was succulent and full of flavor. The rolls themselves were soft and perfectly toasted, adding a nice crunch to each bite. What really made this dining experience special, however, was the stunning sea view. The kiosk is situated right by the water's edge and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean. It was truly unforgettable, and made the meal even more enjoyable.

Our first stop in Brighton and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We got some oysters and pickled seafood (which wasn’t my favorite) but the oysters 🦪 were fresh and got shucked super quickly. Be aware of seagulls: the lady next to us got up to grab some vinegar and seagulls stole all her food 😅
