A lovely studio for a sunday workshop, with plenty of props on hand, a nice welcome and an airy, light, clean place in which to feel comfortable. tammy is a great teacher and i'll certainly be back for another restorative class sometime soon.
I cannot recommend itka androlva highly enough, she is without doubt the best massage therapist i have ever had (and i have tried many over the years), and her craniosacral therapy is profoundly healing. she is a warm, grounded, incredibly intuitive healer, and i am not exaggerating when i say that her therapies are transformative.
I love about balance so much, i've been going for over 4 years. there's a great community feel and everyone is super welcoming and they always offer a super interesting variety if therapies and yoga classes. i see itka for massage and cranio sacral and i think she is one of the best therapists in town! she is intuitive, caring and highly skilled. she listens carefully to the person's - and the body's - needs for a treatment that leave you feeling brand-new and restored. you won't be disappointed! i highly recommend her! i also attended her yoga classes for the past 5 years, a great combination of hatha flow, kundalini and meditation with incredible and super helpful attention to alignment, i always leave feeling so renewed. must try!
Until i booked a massage here i had no idea there were therapy rooms downstairs, but there are and they are lovely and you can get lots of great treatments across the week, including using a flotation tank! the ground floor also has a small yoga studio and shop where you can get essential oils and crystals and books and other bits and pieces. very warm and welcoming service. i will definitely be back in future to try more things!
My first visit on tuesday was very positive. i was greeted in a naturally friendly way on arrival and shown where to leave my belongings before going into class. the room was fairly small but there was plenty of room for the five of us to move around. after the class finished we were asked to wipe out mats before rolling them up, an excellent idea. i'll be back, definitely to katie's class and who knows what else i'll find to join
