A very enjoyable experience looking at the hard work completed by the students at west of england university in bristol. a beautiful day complementated by cold drinks an canapès.
Brilliant gallery. absolutely loved our visit. will definitely go again. staff were friendly and informative and the exhibition superb.
My new favourite place in bristol. stopped in to check out the bookshop, then found out the galleries are free to visit! 3 floors of artwork and installations, work by local artists, and a community room where you can create your own art. friendly, welcoming staff plus quiet space to read or sit and enjoy the art work. i recommend the dark room part of the current exhibition for a moment of quiet and reflection away from the city noise. wish there were more free arts venues like this one - loved it. (photos show an artwork in the exhibition and community art on a noticeboard.)
It is a great place for art exhibits i suppose . unfortunately the day i visited, most of the exhibition is closed for prep of the upcoming exhibition. so we did not spend much time in this location. overall the place is clean and relaxing vibe. very inclusive placr esp for the lgbt community. great people and friendly.
A great arts venue showing a varied range of modern art. it also has a large cinema/performance space, well stocked bookshop and large bar and restaurant. it’s position in the centre of bristol’s harbourside has made it a pivotal component of bristol’s cultural life.
