Beautiful resturant, and super friendly staff. they treated us well as we celebrated our marriage bringing extra dishes and surprises. tasty dishes, worth a visit for special occasions
This was my first time visiting the ivy! i had heard about how stunning their interiors are and it definitely lived up to expectations. even the bathrooms are completely beautiful. the food was really tasty, however it was very expensive. i ordered the blackened cod, and asked if it needed a side dish.... it did. the cod was £18.95 on it's own 😅 i did love the lighter dessert option. fruit, sorbet, drizzled in warm melted white chocolate - nom. delicious food, however due to the prices, i would probably only return to the ivy for drinks, as you really can't beat the stunning setting! the order: blackened cod - £18.95 side of jasmine rice - £3.95 malaysian monkfish & prawn curry - £20.95 frozen berries - £7.95 creme brulee - £7.95 📅 visited in may 2023
What an amazing experience!! since we walked in we felt super welcome and the vibes were immaculate. everyone working there seemed to be enjoying it and were super attentive at all times (taking our order, clearing our table, topping up our wine…). we wish we knew the name of the guy that served us because he was amazing! we had some starters, mains and desserts and we enjoyed everything but would especially recommend the prawn curry and the white chocolate cheesecake! definitely a 5/5, will be back :)
Lovely restaurant in the heart of clifton village. delicious food and attentive service from staff. one note of caution, the stairs down to basement wc's are narrow and steep ( ots an old building) so may be a challenge for less able individuals.
