My husband and 2 children have been patients at willow for almost 2 years now. when dr tom left we were passed over to mike, and we are all very, very happy with the treatments we are receiving. he made us feel very welcome and we were immediately at ease with him. he is very professional, listens to your needs and will treat you at length to ensure you are feeling much better when you leave, than when you went in! my daughter, phoebe jakubczyk, is an elite gymnast and competes for great britain. training 35 hours per week puts a great toll on her body. she has regular adjustments to ensure she is at her strongest and, more importantly, that her body is balanced and in line. mike is absolutely brilliant with her. we see chiropractic as a way of life, not just when you have an issue with your body. thank you mike!
Before visiting willow in clifton i had previous experience with other clinics etc but never felt like it had achieved much. i remember after having my initial consultation with dr freya feeling like there was both a realistic plan as well as being optimistic for my future. i also remember not being able to pick up my children without being in pain, going for a run without the fear of the repercussions i'd have for my body and the inability to get to sleep for not being able to get anywhere near comfortable. now, having finished my course i am in training for the next london marathon, i can play dinosaurs with the boys and i sleep all night without being unable to move the next morning. i can't thank the friendliness of the lovely reception team and of course dr freya! phil (39)
Poor posture/uneven shoulders and losing balance whilst walking prompted my seeking a chiropractic assessment. i've always known good health, been physically active - long walks, different forms of exercise, but hit what felt like a brick wall - nothing seemed to make a difference. was this simply age and stage; had i hit the age barrier? the assessment suggested i had a significant curvature to the spine. i felt devastated but michael in his quiet, encouraging way gave me hope. the change has been amazing! my balance and posture are much improved, but that is not all. completely unexpected has been how much better i sleep, significantly more energy and a brighter mood. in tandem both my digestion and memory have shown significant improvement. how do you say thank you for getting your life back... i am so very grateful to michael and the willow team. thank you for the excellent care. jan murray
I'd suffered with neck & shoulder pain for a very long time. i had also found walking up & down stairs increasingly difficult. after taking otc painkillers far too frequently i finally decided to see a chiropractor. i chose clifton willow as it's close to home. my oh my, if i'd known how much better i'd be after only a couple of sessions i would have done this year's ago. i am now able to walk up & down stairs "normally" now, my neck & shoulders are so much better. i no longer have the burning pain & haven't taken any painkillers since beginning my treatment. friends & family have also noticed the difference. i wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend willow chiropractor especially the clifton one.
