I highly recommend Joel! He is a great teacher, very in depth and thorough, very knowledgeable and keen to impart that knowledge to you, remaining patient and calm at all times, always encouraging and enthusiastic, easy to get on with and chat to, which culminates in a great environment to learn to drive in. The lessons wer well thought through and structured, with several teaching aids which make things clearer, Joel used a reporting system so you can see how you are getting on and developing which was really helpful. You will cover all aspects of driving, going above and beyond what is called for in the test making sure you are a safe, confident and competent driver. He went out of his way to fit me into his schedule and get me through my test at short notice despite issues cropping up for both of us which he didn't have to to at all and I really appreciate that, with the situation as it was I wouldn't have passed without Joel's help, tailoring his lessons to my needs and changing his schedule around to squeeze in extra lessons. His car is also nice and easy to drive which really helps build up confidence and ability quickly, I had lessons in 3 different driving instructors cars and joels was by far the easiest and nicest to drive!

The best of the best! Joel is a fantastic driving instructor and all round lovely chap. I passed my driving test on my first attempt all thanks to him and his great teaching skills. I did a lesson a week with him and found the 1.5 hours the perfect amount of time. I learnt a lot in every lesson and we covered a lot of ground across Bristol. He also has a very nice car to drive in which I think helped to make me feel more at ease. At the end of every lesson he talks about the highs and lows and we go over any mistakes or worries which I found super useful, explaining everything in great detail, but also in an easy to understand way. Highly recommend and super grateful I was able to learn from Joel’s driving school!
