Recently had a leather trenchcoat cleaned and I'm really happy with the results. It was a vintage purchase that was very musty and its come back like new. Would recommend Andy, and to support local Bristol businesses 👍

Fantastic customer service, Andrew has gone out of his way to help me to get a suit cleaned at short notice, Highly recommended cleaners. Just picked up my suit and I am really impressed, the crease in the trousers is razor sharp I can't fault the cleaning, I will definitely be going back when it's time for the suit to be cleaned 5x well earned. Evan had a text to let me know it was ready to pick up.

Andy at Chatams always does a fantastic job of my dry cleaning! Special shout out to when he famously cleaned my partner's bright white blazer...which unfortunately had turned a shade of green after rolling around in grass at a wedding! Safe to say that Andy worked his magic and brought it back to life - it came out of the cleaners looking brand new. Highly recommend Chatams for all your dry cleaning needs - great local business! :)

Thoroughly unimpressed. I brought 2 coats in to be cleaned around a week before this review. I hadn't heard anything, so I went in to see if they were ready and to collect my coats. One of the jackets was just tossed into a bin with many others which hadn't been cleaned. The explanation for this was that the 'glue' between the jacket and the liner had started to dissolve (in the creased patches). Apparently in the 'olden days' they used to glue the liners to the jackets, as opposed to just stitch them in. Fair enough, I thought, as I didn't know any different - although I was confused as, although the jacket is 'vintage' in style, it's relatively new. The gentleman behind the counter did offer me a refund on this - which he was good about. I've checked the jacket now that I am home to discover that the liner isn't glued to the jacket material - and the jacket just needed to be ironed (which it did before I brought the jacket in to be cleaned). Since getting home I have noted some small stains (see pictures) which I am certain weren't there before. Then we move on to the coat they did clean. Yes, it's clean; however, the man behind the counter said "We did have 2 buttons come off when cleaning it. They were very badly and loosely attached." No apology, just that. When I bought the jacket in, there was only one loose button (I already knew about it), which, incidentally, is still attached to the jacket. All the others were fine. He offered to have someone stitch them back on, but I declined as I could do it at home. It does beg the question as to why, if you have damaged a customer's item, you wouldn't get it repaired straight off the bat - or at least contact them to ask what they would like doing. Since getting home, I've also noted that a 3rd button seems to have come off completely and was being held in place by a safety pin. I have also realised that 2 of the 3 buttons have been scratched, removing the gold lacquer on them. Needless to say, I won't be bringing any future items to the store for cleaning.

Andy did a fabulous job of getting a very stubborn stain out of my silk dress. I was told by other dry cleaners that it cannot be done without ruining the dress but Andy took on the challenge and I am very happy with the results - it was also a very fair price. Would recommend as the best dry cleaners in town!
