Just had a useful half hour chat with James. I will always take my hats off to anyone who tells you that you don't need their business. James answered my questions, told me that I was on the right track financially, and said to get in touch if my situation changed but that I otherwise didn't require his services. There's a lot of integrity in that, something sadly lacking elsewhere in the industry.

Everything is clearly set out, communicated and explained (and explained again if you want it). I was always nervous about approaching a financial advisor and whether they would have my best interests at heart. FJ don't try and upsell or suggest you change anything unnecessarily and they make sure you are completely happy before you do anything. I'm keen to see how it all pans out over the coming years, but the initial stages have been very positive.
