We were greeted warmly and compassionately with great sensitivity to the dreadful circumstances. we were talked through options clearly and carefully, ensuring our own mental health was also acknowledged. I fully recommend R Davies funeral directors. They were supportive, respectful and helpful at every stage of the process. The funeral was conducted with great dignity. My mother would have been very pleased at how it went. The burial took place in Bristol and my mother died in Kent but everything was conducted smoothly with no difficulties. All the staff were kind and always easy to contact.

When you are involved with the funeral of a loved one you need a funeral team who are reliable,respectful,responsible and most importantly compassionate. The team at R Davies were both professional and accessible from the moment my daughter and I first walked through the door and helped us through each and every step before delivering a perfect service on the day. They recommended the Celebrant ( the excellent Ruth) and took all the pressure off us. I can't praise them highly enough and it was down to them that a very sad day was both beautiful and meaningful for our family.

My father passed away suddenly over Christmas and I chose R. Davies to take care of him. It was a long time before he was released from the hospital due to the fact he had a fall at home and had multiple injuries on top of various illnesses. From start to finish R. Davies were compassionate, caring and above all extremely professional throughout. I was kept informed of everything and all was explained clearly. This was a very difficult time for me as it is for us all when it happens and I couldn't recommend another funeral directors more highly than R.
