Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel

Lovely hotel friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit of a faff as no where to sit when we went down, coffee machine not working. Upon checking out we were surprised to find that although we had booked and paid for stay parking and breakfast, it was not recorded on your system to this effect and receptionist who checked us out said we were due to pay for parking and breakfast, luckily we had our paperwork printed out with us to prove that we had already paid for these.

One night stay as part of a business trip. The check in was easy and the reception staff were friendly and helpful in describing the amenities and nearby places to visit. The reception team also ordered a taxi for our check out time. The attached bar was a good place to relax with a drink and doubled up for breakfast in the morning. Although the bedroom was basic it had everything I needed for a one night stay. Recommended for a visit to central Bristol.

Great location! Lovely, helpful and understanding staff! Rooms are clean and big enough. My room had massive bed, maybe even too big but enjoyed the space. I’m a light sleeper and this hotel is quiet - so I had a good night sleep! Really enjoyed my stay here. I booked for one night as had to change hotels due to bad experience at other place. I will stay here again!
