Fujiyama Japanese Restaurant

We loved the food here. It was nice to have some quality sushi and teppanyaki. It reminded us of when we used to eat out in Tokyo when we lived there. You probably wouldn’t usually get sushi and teppanyaki on the same menu but we were really happy with the quality of both. And not unreasonable prices either, we thought. Beef fillet garlic teppanyaki!

The place doesent look all that fancy , however sushi really good and most definitely will be returning ! We ordered some crispy rolls, chicken futomaki and soft shell crab rolls ...I loved them all 😍 ebi fry prawns were ok,just like they should be .

Very good sushi restaurant! Went with my friends and really enjoyed ourselves. Good service and great food:) they had plenty of veggie and vegan options as well as the usual, and then inside ambience was nice! Big tables and a downstairs area too which is ideal. Thank you!

I ordered three dishes: Salmon nigiri, takoyaki and chicken katsu curry. The food was good overall although I have a few complaints. They are unaccommodating to customers with dietary restrictions (I cannot have alcohol) and they only stock alcohol based soy sauce according to the staff. I had to have my sushi plain without the soy sauce unfortunately which is a shame. Secondly I don’t particular like the way they serve chicken katsu curry with rice - in a small plastic bowl which keeps moving around the table every time I’m trying to scoop out the rice. The katsu chicken was delicious but the katsu curry could do with a bit more seasoning. I wish they have non-alcohol based soy sauce alternative otherwise I would return to this restaurant.

Been there today, I was seated next to window , order pork ramen and green tea. Food arrived in few minutes. Food was very very tasty and quality was great. I take dessert with me, great in taste as well. Highly recommended.
