Great place to visit. lots of steps and quite narrow stairs.. but well worth it once you are at the top of the tower. the views are amazing.
Spectacular views from one of the tallest points of the city for free of charge. there's a catch though: you need climb a relatively steep hill and a couple of steps before getting access to these amazing views, but in my opinion, all the efforts are well-worth it. i did not regret and would go back any other time without hesitation.
Amazing view over all of bristol! surrounded by gorgeous garden ponds and thin little stone walkways leading up to the tower. you can walk up the tower for free, and i would definitely recommend going at sunset because the view is just spectacular. a very tight helix staircase to the top, but the view is worth it. there are 2 levels you can get out at, so you don't have to go to the top. between the lower level and the upper level the staircase is even smaller, but the view is much better.
If you’re looking for a hidden gem in bristol that blends history, nature, and amazing views, cabot tower park is the place to go. the tower lets you see the city and harbor from a different perspective. the park around it has a peaceful nature reserve, plenty of greenery, and a playground. it’s open every day and free to visit, so anyone can enjoy its benefits. don’t miss this opportunity to explore bristol’s past, relax in nature, and admire the beautiful scenery at cabot tower park
Visited may 6, 2019: quite the brisk exercise getting to the place. climbing up the tower itself can definitely be claustrophobic for some folks out there, basically having one path going up and down, so there's a queue for the most part waiting for one side to finish up. the views at the top, however, are rewarding, each side worth your time. the best of them being the greenery in the immediate area below.
