Hat Bistro

Food was lovely and plenty of choice. We were on business and asked for separate bills for our individual meals and the waitress(not sure if she was manager or not) wasn't happy. She was very obvious in her bemusement of us having the audacity to ask such a ridiculous request!!! Spoiled the atmosphere for us. Shame because the food was lovely and the rest of staff helpful.

Nice and cosy, very authentic and quirky Greek restaurant, side street location, easily found, intimate with half a dozen tables, solid Greek menu, chef cooked excellent quality dishes and came out for a friendly chat, waitress was attentive, lovely stifado and Kleftiko, bottles of mythos, excellent greek desserts, what's not to like 😉 will be back!

Booked ahead, we were greeted as soon as we entered and shown to our table ..the owner came to chat. The entire meal cooked fresh that day on the premises. I can recommend the lamb kleftika and their chocolate pud with ice cream is special. Quite expensive, but then overhead costs are high nowadays...

My daughter and her friend went to this lovely little restaurant and she has not stopped talking about it! The owner and her sister, I am very sorry I don't know their names, who work together, were so lovely! The food was all beautiful and I don't think any photographs would truly do it justice. The one sister, who was our waitress was so cheerful and friendly, giving her recommendations and checking everything was good throughout. The owner explained that the food is all sourced from Greece and homemade, just beautiful. I really wish I lived closer because I would go here regularly. What a wonderful evening with stunning, food, wine and company. 100% recommend!

My friend took me here because she loves this place and her family insist on going back every time they visit her in Bristol. I completely understand why. The food was incredible, the wine was excellent, and the waitress was so friendly she really made us feel welcome. Only trouble is, we enjoyed it so much we didn't realise we were there for over 3 hours.
