Arrived here after following the trail at the burnley canal festival. the staff were amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. free entry and a fascinating building full of history. we can't wait to visit again and i'm so glad that we discovered it!
Free entry absolutely lovely staff who are informative and actually cared about what they were doing even though they are volunteer's. definitely go back just for the information and chats!
This is a fantastic museum to visit in burnley. we organised a guided group walk at the canalside and saw the big old engine running as well. amazing history of the cotton mills and how the boats were utilised to move goods. great bring kids along. they need our donations to keep this heritage site running by volunteers.
