Jane is a brilliant trainer and great advocate of positive reinforcement. her classes are relaxed and fun whilst being totally informative. she has helped me greatly with my assistance dog training. i cannot thank her enough for her help, support and total dedication to the dogs she trains.
I've attended jane's clicker camp, clicker addict and come stop click workshops with my dog tinker over the past few years. we are not local, but the training jane gives is worth the travel. always gives her lectures in plain english, dedicates herself to ensuring i am learning, and helpful when i get stuck. tinker has done really well under the training we've been given by jane, i use the techniques for normal companion dog obedience as well as teaching tricks for fun. we're also progressing well with competition obedience using many of the same techniques - tinker knows what he likes, and thanks to jane, now i do too!
Jane is an amazingly skilled trainer who not only really understands dogs but also knows how to get people on board as well. her online courses are brilliant.... a great mix of theory and practical advice with a good dose of humour. i only wish she lived closer so i could go to some of her practical classes too!
I would love to train personally with jane, but sadly i live at the opposite end of the country. however, i have taken part in a couple of jane's online courses and have found her to be a brilliant trainer. i love jane's style and delivery of each lesson, and have found them interesting and stimulating, not only providing a great training plan but also backing up everything she teaches with the science behind it. i am extremely envious of those who are lucky enough to attend jane's classes in person. i am really looking forward to many more online courses with jane.
Having known jane as a trainer for several years now i have to say she is on another level. she is constantly learning and looking for new and exciting ways to teach. i attended her talk at the kcai annual event on "mindfulness" in dog training and it was an eye opener for me as a dog trainer. i've taken a lot of information on from jane over the years and she is has given me some great advice over the time i've known her. jane now has to suffer my constant nagging for many years to come as i'm fortunate enough to own one of her amazing puppies and i know she will be on hand should i need any help.
