We signed our daughter up to the 11+ programme, as whilst she was bright, she'd never sat a formal exam before and often struggled with worry and anxiety in new situations. we wanted her to feel confident and relaxed when it came to the real exam. she loved attending the online tuition sessions, was excited to join and always came away happy. we were really pleased with how helen prepared her for the exam, covering areas she'd never been taught at school, sharing exam technique and the importance of time management. our daughter also made some real connections with the other students, despite it being online and hopes to remain friends. the mock exam programme in early summer also helped our daughter understand what the day would be like and why it was important to keep the extra revision and practice up over summer. she recently sat the brgs entrance exam, met the required standard and was offered a place for y7. we are really proud of her, as she did find it stressful and challenging at times, but helen's approach really helped to put her at ease. it was especially pleasing to see how relaxed our daughter was on the day of the exam, both before and after. thank you! we will also be considering a star tuition for our younger daughter, so that she too has the same chance to be successful.
