A decent pub with lots of big screens for all the sports. also has a real fire which is fab. plenty of different areas to sit and chat. also serves really good coffee.

Nice pub. i like the majority of the joseph holt pubs. the manager/landlord was very friendly. good selection of drinks reasonably priced. comfortable seats and a disabled toilet with a door that locked unlike the robert peel next door. would go again.
Friendly service, clean tables and a relaxing atmosphere. they have televisions for the sport and they play music. the drink was cheap and they do an offer on pizzas. it was very much similar to a weatherspoons pizza but in a good way. there was no grease dripping off it. a very nice pub.
Really friendly landlord. had a great chat today about the pizza ovens (i'm a geek). always a cracking pint and very reasonably priced. possibly the best pub in bury town centre! 5*!
