On arrival at the Bury site a member of staff called Alan promptly came over to my car and helped me to unload a rather large amount of broken and grubby wood. I was most grateful for his assistance and friendly chat.

I recently visited the recycling centre. I can only say that one of your employees, whom I asked his name which was Alan was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. I can honestly say he is an asset to your Company and made the task a nice experience.

This lot are hilarious. I have to come here more often than I would like, especially as I’ve acquired an unruly allotment. Come rain or shine, they’re the nicest bunch of people I’ve come across since moving to Bury 8 years ago. They’ve always got some banter going on between them, they’re WAY more helpful than the Great British Public have any right to expect, and they all need pay rises. Always a friendly smile or a wave, always helpful. The teamwork and banter when someone got their van stuck under the barrier was priceless - on the radio, “Alan, please don’t take this the wrong way but we need you to come down here so we can get some real weight on his suspension…” absolute guffaws of laughter from everyone in earshot. They’re all absolute comedians, including the chap today who decided I needed to hear a story about a lottery winner and his carrots. Brightened my day no end.
