Do not listen to below review by herbie. ive had my car serviced and mot in several garages trying to find an honest and friendly service. i recently called john at j general as my cars needed urgent work, john had no problem fitting me in and gave me a friendly and more importantly an honest opinion, letting me know what would need to be done in order for my car to be fixed. i was quoted a price by john and i did my research and could not find anyone cheaper and i couldn't be more happy with the work done! would definitely recommend!

Great services offered by john and rick. very knowledgeable and extremely competitive pricing. breakdown recovery services too all jobs accepted and vehicles returned in good time too. one of the great secrets in caerphilly. highly. recommended. 10/10

I had my family in the car and when they could see how the car was preforming they did not want me to take it back to garage after coming back with such an obvious malfunction with the car, the garage say if something happened to it then i should have given them the opportunity to recify it, but, there was a problem and you did not notice, and you gave it back to me in a worse condition than you received it. i saw with my own eyes on the computer from another garage the error code that had appeared after getting the car back from you, and that when i had the car back from j general motors there was an additional error code that hadn't previously been there. thay say that their work is warranted but the car has been given back to me in a dangerous capacity. i cannot afford to pay for my car twice so close to christmas, in which they would not provide any refund.

Great service, lovely team, did the job quicky and very reasonably priced, very happy, highly recommend and will definitely use again
