Walked in with no reservation, fully booked inside but made some room for us outside. their hot chips are the best.

Decent home cooked food. never had a bad meal. best sunday dinner i’ve had and i’ve had a few! service can be a bit slow sometimes (due to busyness) but always pleasant staff.

We went for a nice walk and arrived here. nice warm decor and welcoming staff, great place for a drink. the food was pleasant, for similar meals we have paid less. chips were very nice, i did enjoy the veggie lasagne though some of the salad was on the turn (see picture), my friend felt the chilli could have had more heat.

An incredible pub. though i strongly recommend you book a table in advance. dogs are welcomed. the food is wonderful. beef brisket we had.. superb. staff attentive, be warned busy, so be patient and politeness to the staff doesn't cost anything!!!

We were seated immediately with no fuss and had our drinks quickly thereafter. the food was also beautiful and served quickly. there was an incident where two rowdy males tried to ignite a situation with me and another guest with me. we didn't even need to complain, before we were even able to, the problem was handled and the rowdy guys were asked to drink up and leave. it was the first time anywhere that the staff stepped in without being asked to. it was really comforting. also got to cuddle a staff members sausage dogs so that was great. 10/10 staff and service.
