The service was very fast. My coffee arrived. I hadn't even finished it when my main course arrived. While I was drinking my apple juice, I was asked if I wanted dessert not once but twice. I asked for dessert and tea. Before I could finish my tea, the bill was brought to me. It was placed in front of me without even asking for my approval. And they never made me feel comfortable. We are not here just to eat, pay the bill, and leave according to your routine. What you are doing is not called a good service.

Lovely beefeater one of the best I have been to! Really nice set up inside and really friendly chatty staff! Had a great 3 course meal from the mid week menu! Will be back again the next time I I working in the area!

Came here at 1.30 on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet. Placed our order of ultimate roast and a steak platter Was asked how we wanted our steak and beef on the roast...We requested rare. Food came out, the steaks on the steak platter cooked perfectly, garlic prawns way over cooked Ultimate Sunday roast, value for money but we couldn't tell the lamb from the beef, we was expecting neat slices of lamb and beef and they was rough cuttings and dry Service wasn't exactly great, could've been more attentive, I ordered a refillable drink... With the restaurant only having 5 tables it would've been nice to ask how's the food and do I need a top up Overall average, with some effort this can be a great restaurant

Really good, pictured is the stack burger, we had a children's steak and chips which was cooked to perfection, also a chicken stack, again perfection, moiste and tender, a lot of chips tho!! We were served by Ben, who was chatty and friendly. 25% blue light discount is a nice touch.
