Long Can Hall

Had a lovely early lunch here on saturday in the sun. Really clean place toilets immaculate and the staff are lovely they make you feel very welcome and beautiful views over the valley from the beer garden. The food is tasty and reasonably priced I had a really nice chicken salad with freshly cooked tasty chicken and lots of different leaves and veggies and fresh garlic croutons. My partner had rump steak and chips and enjoyed it very much. Its a nice place to stop off on a walk and its dog friendly we have been a few times and will be back.

Had a surprise 60th birthday here yesterday for my hubby, we had the most amazing time. Big thanks to Becky and Clare and the rest of the team, they were amazing 👏 nothing was too much trouble for them all. Food was amazing and Longcan Hall is a beautiful place. Our party were in the Snug and it was an amazing and perfect afternoon. Thank you Becky and Clare xxx

What a lovely experience, from the off the staff were extremely polite and welcoming, a party of 4 we all had different meals and all were excellent. Lovely atmosphere and no pressure, this place is a must try ! thank you for a lovely evening.

A lovely place with a beautiful setting. We came here for Fathers Day this year and the meal was absolutely incredible. The beef we had on our roast had been slow cooked for 12 hours and you could really tell because it just melted in your mouth! The staff are professional and friendly too, it’s a really welcoming setting and it’s got a real homely feel. We will definitely be back!

On finding ourselves in Halifax for a day out we stumbled across this beautiful historic, characteristic A Class building in the middle of no where. We decided to have our dinner and booked a table. Wow what a treat. The food was out of this world, the staff were so friendly and polite and the atmosphere of the building just made our meal that little extra special. The building has kept some of its own original features which is rear when it’s dated back to 1560. We had the British Beef Burrito and a trading roast beef dinner followed by a huge chocolate Sunday and home made sticky toffee pudding. The price was only £22 each including drinks. There is plenty of car parking spaces. We couldn’t have found a better restaurant to end our day out with such a fantastic experience. I highly recommend the Long Can Hall an opportunity not to be missed. Thank you Becky & the team xx
