Cat and Dogs Professional Dog Training

This recall training was really practical & helpful for me & my dog. i came away with a much better idea of what works & lots of ways to make training fun & affective. many thanks to cat who really does understand dog psychology.

I highly recommend cat's puppy training course. it was great to teach our puppy new skills each week and the knowing that they'd be put to the test the following week motivated us to practise each day, much more than if we'd been left to our own devices with the training! in addition to learning specific skills, we noticed that the communication with our pup in general vastly improved as a result of the course. we are now much more in tune with each other and happier in each other's company. cat is very supportive and we found having email guidance on specific puppy-related issues that arise outside of the weekly training a definite bonus.

We brought our chow chow puppy to cat when he was 9 weeks for a 1-1, then signed up to the puppy class (6 week course) and a loose lead walking class. everyone who knows about the chow chow breed knows they’re stubborn (but beautiful) things and cat worked her magic on our little chai. chai is now such a chilled out puppy who doesn’t pull on his lead 80% of the time (he is a puppy after all) and is improving everyday. very good at basic but essential commands and sits in a pub no problem for a few hours! could not have asked for any more! he now also sits in front of the training centre during his walks as he loved class so much…

I would recommend cat’s classes to anyone with a new puppy or a problem pooch. i’ve never felt the need to go to training classes with my previous dogs as i’ve been lucky and they were really calm and well behaved from the start but the puppy i have now was turning into a bit of a nightmare so i took her to cat’s puppy life skills class and it absolutely transformed our relationship. we’ve since done another two courses with cat and i have every intention of taking her to the other courses she offers. the classes are a really fun way to bond with your dog, they’re excellent value for money and are held in a great venue. cat is really knowledgeable and such a lovely, kind and patient person. she’s an excellent teacher whose passion for dogs and training really comes across in her classes.

I've attended three of cat's courses with my little cocker spaniel hector. not only have we both learnt loads, and his behaviour is better, but my bond with him has improved, and we've both had lots of fun. highly recommend cat's positive methods
