RPT Driver Training

I strongly recommend starting with RPT Driver Training. I felt so much more confident with Richard than my previous driving instructor. I passed my driving test first time, fully prepared and ready for the test. I have no complaints. His teaching methods work really well and I had improved on my driving skills every lesson. He is a really good driving instructor.

Richard is an amazing driving instructor and I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive! He was my second instructor, and I am so happy I made the swap. Lessons have been stress free and fun as well as extremely educational. Not once did Richard get annoyed at me, or raise his voice. I especially appreciate that not only did he tell me WHAT to do, but also WHY I was doing it. This made learning much easier for me as I was able to understand the thought process rather than only gaining muscle memory. I recently passed my second driving test with zero faults and I have Richard to thank. Life is about to become a lot easier with a car! Once again, huge thanks to Richard!

Whatever stage of learning to drive you’re at, I would highly recommend Richard at RPT Driver Training. I found Richard really met me where I was - I needed someone who was patient, reassuring, could suggest a different way to do a manoeuvre if things weren’t clicking the first way, as well as being thorough and technically knowledgeable. I feel Richard moulds to the needs of his learners rather than the other way around, and he supports you how ever best you learn. Richard doesn’t just help you to pass a test; he’s very committed to making sure you feel safe and confident in your own driving ability. Nothing ever felt like it was a box-ticking exercise and instead he really gives you the tools to become a good, safe driver on the road beyond just taking the test. Aside from being a fantastic instructor, Richard’s a lovely person, easy to chat to, and I always felt relaxed and comfortable in our hour lessons. He always arrives for lessons with time to spare, is very responsive to messages, and is accommodating in his schedule where he can.
