Wow. what a difference 6 weeks makes. i have nòw completed the 6 week foundation course, and am feeling fab. i started out feeling very nervous as have got out of shape and attempted no exercise in years. i was welcomed by all with support and encouragement with plenty of giggles along the way too. i didn't think my fitness would improve at the rate it has, nor acheive the weight loss i have. just over a stone loss, good healthy routines in place and i am enjoying a healthy diet. i have a long way to go still, but i have no doubt i will get there. if you are feeling a bit lost in yourself and want to get out of that well-known rut, i would certainly recommend you to give the treadmill foundation course a whirl.
Edit nov 2022 - i have been on the next stage "inner circle" for 3 months now and i love it. i have got to know the people in my sessions really well now. the coaches and other attendees feel like friends now. it is such a lovely, friendly and welcoming gym. i enjoy getting weekly 1:1 phone support from tom my assigned coach - i find it really helpful to tailor things to what i need. the regular emails from owner mitch are also super helpful and seem to come just at the right time. i feel this is a holistic wellness journey incorporating exercise which suits me right down to the ground. i think it is just part of my life now. sorry team treadmill, you are stuck with me! xx original post july 2022: i am just coming to the end of my 6 week foundation wellness course at the treadmill gym. i have had other pt's in the past and done group sessions too and i have to say this is hands sown the best i've done. always greeted by a friendly smile on reception when i walk in and nothing is too much. i have signed up to the next stage now and can't wait for it to start! this really is something special incorporating so much more than just food and exercise. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ high recommended :-)
A well kitted out gym with all the equipment needed. good location and easy parking. friendly, knowledgeable staff. personal training sessions are brilliant - the trainer (mitch) is great with all abilities and makes sure you get the most out of your sessions, lots of good advice: from correct posture for each exercise to nutrition and recovery advice / training around injuries. a brilliant coach!
When you think fitness is out of your limits, think again. i'm 58 had both hip replacement, struggling, gaining weight, feeling rubbish. decided iv got to do something. i saw the add, treadmill gym, halifax. iv not looked back it's so informal and mitch the trainer is so encouraging, the atmosphere is quite fun and the people that go are there for the similar reasons, just to do something for themselves, everyone is welcoming and friendly. highly recommended!
