The Fleece Countryside Inn

We had the most perfect wedding day at The Fleece Countryside Inn – thank you so much! A huge thank you to everyone at The Fleece for bringing our wedding day dream to life. We chose the venue as it has a lovely homely, country and relaxed vibe – it’s not pretentious or over the top, yet still a perfectly stunning venue with incredible surrounding views. So many of our wedding guests said they’d be coming back again for a meal and drinks, as they loved it! Our wedding coordinator, Carrie-Anne, was absolutely amazing from our first meeting, right up until the day, as were the other coordinators on the day who helped it run so seamlessly, (apologies, sadly can’t remember their names)! From the wedding coordinators, to the bar and restaurant staff, to the chefs, to the cleaners…they were all fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Even the weather was spot on! We would 100% recommend The Fleece as a wedding venue – a stunning place, great staff and in a beautiful location. Thank you so much, for everything, and for making our day so special. We got married at The Fleece back in April and it was the most amazing day. The venue is absolutely stunning and has some of the best back drops for photos. The team went above and beyond to make our day perfect and we cannot thank them enough. We would recommend them to anybody!

Our stay at Sapphire Shores Lodge was like a dreamy escape. The peaceful lake views and the symphony of birdsong created a serene atmosphere. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and had a porch where we could watch the sun set over the water. The hosts were warm and provided valuable insights for exploring the surrounding trails. This is a place where nature whispers its secrets.

We got married here last Saturday 2/9/23 & loved every minute of it. Carrie-Anne and all the team are exceptional at what they do. Just one visit was enough for us to book this venue and we are so pleased did. They were on hand with any emails/questions we had- even when I felt I was asking silly questions I was always made to feel that nothing was ever too much trouble. The day ran so smoothly and the staff were absolutely fabulous. We had all the accommodation for our wedding and the rooms were great too. Very clean and decor was lovely, all guests said how much they liked their rooms. All in all a fabulous day & you won't regret choosing The Fleece Countryside Inn as your wedding venue! Wow! What an amazing place to get married, and a wonderful team they are up at The Fleece. Our day on 29/07/2023 was amazing! Carrie-Anne, Laura and the team went above and beyond to ensure that our day went smoothly, and we could switch off and enjoy the the day. In the planning stages, nothing was too much for Carrie-Anne and Laura, any little questions we had they were on hand to answer speedily, and kept checking in throughout. All bedrooms were used by guests from the wedding, and they all commented how comfy and clean the rooms were, and how tasty the breakfast was! The location, there aren't enough stars I can give, those views!!! Thank you all for making our day so special, and one we'll never forget. Mr and Mrs Seery xx
