Wainhouse Tower

Stunning building lots of steps to climb . Check the council website for opening as some sites have false times .

Very nice piece of architecture, unfortunately without access to the top for visitors on regular basis so be careful with planning your visit to this object if you wanted to see those stunning views accessible at the tower's top...

Website and all other sites says it opens at 10am no one there today 5/5/23. Impressive structure all the same with excellent views down the valley even at the ground level. Had a walk around the area for a couple of hours very pleasant. Tower still not open on our return.

Interesting historical landmark. Access is tricky if you have any mobility issues. The tower itself is rarely open to go up the spiral staircase. Adjacent to King Cross graveyard.

An interesting experience, with views over Halifax and Sowerby Bridge. The climb is not too exercising, you are allowed to take your time and there are lots of passing places and a few places to sit down. You must buy tickets beforehand on the EventBrite site.
