RSJJ Painting and Decorating

I am over the moon with the work that has been done. As a busy mother in a demanding job, Rob organised everything from start to finish, kept in touch frequently and nothing was too much for him and his team. The whole process, particularly so close to Christmas, was dealt with in a way that took a lot of pressure off me. Rob and his team are extremely friendly, professional and caring. I would highly recommend Rob.

Rob impressed me from the off with his attention to detail, focus on 'prepping', and affable manner. My job was reasonably 'big': redecorating a 7-room house from top to bottom, in a 200-year old cottage with all the minor (and not so minor) problems that come with that, and Rob was in constant contact, updating on progress, highlighting problems, and then offering both Plan 'A' (completely fix it) or Plan 'B' (patch it for now), and happy to go with whichever the customer (me) opted for. A top-class job throughout, and I would use him again and recommend him.

We've used RSJJ a couple of times now and would highly recommend Rob and his team. Both times we've asked for help decorating at relatively short notice and Rob has arranged for the job to be done as soon as possible, despite being a rather big job recently and slightly out of the way for them with us being based in Leeds! The work was carried out with fantastic attention to detail with lots of prep work above and beyond expectations to get the best finish. Rob even helped us out hugely by prepping the remaining walls we were going to paint ourselves as we were dealing with lots of holes and cracked paint etc. Rob even helped with work we didn’t expect he’d be able to like fitting new skirting boards. Realising we are rather clueless first-time homeowners, Rob explained to us how to do certain DIY jobs ourselves and how he preps etc to help us in future too. Will definitely be using RSJJ’s services again in future as we were very impressed!

Yet another quality piece of work from Rob Hollywood. Superb attention to detail, and finish, and great advice throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time Rob has done work on our cottage and we would never, ever, employ any other painter and decorator. He is a true professional with a passion for his work. He doesn't do 'patching up', and if the job requires 3 days' preparation even before he touches a brush then so be it! His attention to detail is superb and his results are absolutely immaculate. I can't think of enough words to praise him, so Gold Standard will have to do. Thanks Rob for another amazing job. Don't forget my shed next year will you?!
