I recently flew from australia to attend a boygenius concert here. this venue has become my favourite venue in the world. the staff are absolutely incredible, clearly not used to the attraction of such a large crowd before the concert had begun, they introduced a wristband system for those who lined up over night and throughout the day. i was blown away by how willing they were to listen to our ideas, as we wanted to make this experience as smooth for them as possible. absolutely every person i interacted with were warm and welcoming and so friendly. the venue itself is incredibly gorgeous, lovely scenery, architecture and location. i hope to be back one day!!!
Our beautiful piece hall. becoming known as the summer gig venue to attend. the piece hall is a stunning historical building. take time to indulge in the history and the story the piece hall has to tell. browse the specialist boutique shops and enjoy a variety of food, cakes and drinks at a choice of eateries. the piece hall also holds public events, tickets not required, open to all... calderdale pride, artisan markets, northern soul days to name but a few and a host of free and ticketed events during the festive season inc an ice rink. wheelchair accessible and dog friendly ♿🐾
The piece hall is a beautiful building. we have visited twice the first time to shop and have lunch. the shops are many and varied and cater to all tastes. we had lunch in one of the small cafes and the food was delicious. the second visit was to see george ezra which was a great experience. it was well managed and the staff were very welcoming. it just goes to show the versatility of the space. we would definitely want to visit again in the future.
Wow what a venue. new one on me, but amazing open air courtyard with great amenities and amazing visibility of the stage. with a capacity of around 5,500 it has the vibe of a small festival. food and drink available on site which was a nice change for a gig. queens of the stone age absolutely nailed it well. great venue, perfect evening
Wonderful bit of history and a good place to explore on a rainy day. loads of fabulous independent businesses working hard and providing an array of products, food, coffee and more. all the retailers i stopped into were accompanied by very friendly staff who were more than happy to make recommendations for the area and have plenty of lovely chit chat. i had a very splendid wet and windy day mulching about the piece hall and getting to know the area better
