Went for a Father’s Day meal, all the food is all freshly cooked, and everybody’s food was well presented. The pub has changed hands lots of times recently but hasn’t lost any of the quality. Is very nice and clean, the only issue we had is that the children’s meals were served on extremal hot plates.

First time here for Sunday lunch and it was very nice,had the trio which consisted of beef brisket, pork and chicken with sausage in blankets,Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings,would definitely visit again if in the surrounding area.all round it was a very enjoyable visit.

Took my elderly parents for lunch. Terrific welcome from all the staff. Great service, fantastic food and amazing value.

We was passing this place and decided to call in for some food and it didn’t disappoint whatsoever. The food was absolutely amazing I would highly recommend it seriously . The staff were really nice the place got very busy quickly we was the first ones in . But been busy is a good sign . We will definitely be back again it’s a very nice place .

Never eaten here before so Booked a table for MIL birthday but had the dog with us which means the only place you can sit is ‘in the bar’ which is two tables pushed together next to the pool table. So it’s not exactly dog friendly cos there’s a limited space for you. Drinks choices are a bit poor, John smiths, landlord, coors, strongbow, etc nothing modern, no pale ales etc and if you ask for a wine menu the guy tells you it’s in his head which results in a bottle of jack rabbit. Fine for £15 but probably not what I’d have chosen if id had chance to read a list. Food didn’t take too long and was tasty however it could really have done with being a lot warmer. The plates were cold, some of the food was hot and some was just warm. Shame as we all said it was good food and not too pricy for the quality and decent portion
