The BEST Fried fish I have EVER had. That was delicious the fluffier golden light GLUTEN FREE battery and a huge tasty fresh fish. Needs 10* I have bought some "bake at home" GLUTEN free pies too can wait to try them. 10/10 all round

Lovely fish and chips, friendly staff, and it's absolutely packed every time we go. Fresh and delicious. They have quite an extensive menu for a chippy with some options for those that want gluten-free. Loyalty cards scheme is available so I advise you take advantage.

Great fish and chips. First time eating from here and will definitely be coming back. Will try some of the loaded dishes next time, looked delicious.

A sneaky Tuesday lunch at Hirds chippy with my girl - what a pleasant surprise!? We were greeted by friendly staff, ordered a chip butty and small fish & chips & mushy peas (plenty big enough for us)… Everything was cooked quickly to perfection and whilst we waited we had a giggle with Max over his tight-fitting women’s top. I can completely see why they’re award-winning (mainly for the fish, of course!). We’ll be back! Thank you.

Well located along the main road and they are such lovely family run Award winning neighbourhood fish & chips shop! Everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order! ONE OF THE BEST we have eaten.... such Delicious flavour 😋! We tried a few things on the menu and everything is amazing 👏 highly recommended if you are around the area and we would be keen to visit again 😀
