The first time i came to this store, i had creaking sounds all over my second-hand giant bike. ben, the mechanic, said there was dirt inside the assembly that holds the handlebars, and an issue with the ball bearings on the pedals. he estimated it might cost "around £80 to fix" including parts. he fixed it all, without using a single part, and charged £30. the bicycle ran like a dream after that. unfortunately, it was then stolen. i bought another second-hand bike and the brakes were not working well at all. i brought it in, and ben said that although he was fully booked for two weeks ahead, he would take a look. he said it needed new brake pads, but by giving a screw a tweak, managed to get them working "for the time being", and refused to take any money for doing this. i cannot recommend him and his store more highly.
Took my bike in at mid-day, brake pads shot and the retaining bolt holding them in rounded off, they had it good as new a couple of hours later. very helpful/friendly staff, and a pretty decent price all things considered
Amazing service from anton. few days ago my kangaroo bike's rear wheel was misplaced and anton was really kind offering a quick fix! also 2 weeks ago they have also done a great job fixing an old bicycle (20") for my son. always impressed from the guys in this giant's shop offering amazing professional and friendly service. thank you so much !!
We sincerely thank anton and his staff for assisting my wife and i with boxing and shipping our touring bikes back to australia, following our 73 day circumnavigation of the uk and ireland. they were most helpful and generous with their time. i highly recommend patronizing their store, as their bike and gear selection is considerable.
