The first time I came to this store, I had creaking sounds all over my second-hand Giant bike. Ben, the mechanic, said there was dirt inside the assembly that holds the handlebars, and an issue with the ball bearings on the pedals. He estimated it might cost "around £80 to fix" including parts. He fixed it all, without using a single part, and charged £30. The bicycle ran like a dream after that. Unfortunately, it was then stolen. I bought another second-hand bike and the brakes were not working well at all. I brought it in, and Ben said that although he was fully booked for two weeks ahead, he would take a look. He said it needed new brake pads, but by giving a screw a tweak, managed to get them working "for the time being", and refused to take any money for doing this. I cannot recommend him and his store more highly.
