We enrolled on a one to one, six week course with Mel in Bourn, I'm sad to see it end this week! Having been told by another trainer to come back when our dog was calmer-a phone call to Mark to book and the course we undertook and six weeks of grafting we now have a spaniel who settles herself and will walk to heel. Absolutely would 100% ecommend and will enroll in further courses as time allows after we see this season out. Thank you to everyone at Acer.

I’ve been training 1:1 with Sacha for a few months now. She is friendly, helpful, considerate and really knows her stuff. Sometimes it is like a counselling session too, to help me believe in my dog and what we can achieve together. You can learn dog training from books and videos but they can’t give you feedback to adjust and refine what you are doing in order to get to the behaviour you are aiming for. Small businesses need support. I definitely recommend Acer Gundog Training

Acer Gundog Training is honestly just fantastic! I started training with my Vizsla, Goose, at just 12 weeks old back in December last year and tomorrow will be our last session on the Advanced foundation course. Goose and I have attended each course with Jan in Bourn, who is fantastic and so full of knowledge! Lots of people have commented on how calm and well behaved Goose is and I 100% put that down to the skills and knowledge I have learnt from Acer. Each week I have been able to build on these, and work with Goose at home, to make sure he develops the right behaviours from an early age. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone - worth every penny!

I cannot recommend Acer highly enough. We have been training with Acer for a year now, having started with the puppy classes with my Labrador, Penny, and recently switched to 1:1s for some extra help to work through some issues we were having. Jan is knowledgeable, pragmatic, encouraging and supportive and I am so grateful for all her help and advice. The classes have made such a difference to my dog and me and I am so pleased with the progress we have made. Having a trainer that is so quick to tailor the exercises to what your dog is capable of doing on the day, and who celebrates every little success with you, makes such a difference.
