La Maison du Steak

We visited this restaurant New Year's Eve and what a treat it was! We were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. For starters we ordered a crab cake to share. It was huge and absolutely delicious! For main I had the beef bourginon. The beef literally fell to pieces and tasted amazing! My partner has the filet steak which was also really, really good! This was by far some of the best food we have ever eaten in the UK and reasonably priced too! Give this restaurant a go - you won't regret it! Only a short walk from the train station too!

One of my favourite restaurants in Cambridge. Yummy French food and generous sized portions. Nice variety of items on menu. Used to be great value. Now more expensive, but still ok.

Congratulations on your 10th anniversary. We just stumbled upon this little gem that served one of the best steaks ... the warmth welcoming service from the staff, the food and lovely decor 😍 makes this place very special. We were lucky it's their anniversary celebrations 🍾 promotions with free presseco and discounts... food is freshly prepared and delicious... lamb shank, mixed grill, and sirloin steak were cooked to perfection 🥰 💞 with tasty sides. We had such a lovely evening with a bottle of red wine and highly recommend this place... for sure, we will be back to taste more food items on the menu 😋 keep up the great work everyone 👍

Having a night in Cambridge and we were not disappointed. Friendly service. Beef croquettes were lovely. Steaks were very tasty. Salad dressing wasnice with hint of garlic. Also offer craft beers. Nice atmosphere. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the price. Definitely recommend.

It's been a good few years since I last visited here and since that time a number of other steak restaurants have popped up in the city and glad to say this still remains my favourite. I love the feel inside and for a Wednesday early evening there was a lovely little buzz. Service was attentive with good knowledge of their menu. Inside feels a world away from the looming CB1 development I ciukd almost be in a backstreet restaurant in France. I plumped for the epic Tomahawk steak and should have listened to the waiters recommendation to go medium rare. 900g of pure beefy bliss with onlookers wondering if I would finish it off I didn't let them down! Food, setting and service all absolutely spot on couldn't recommend highly enough. Thanks everyone we will be back 🥩🐮
