What's not too like? you can bash the ball in any direction off the tee and still have a reasonable lie. i imagine it would be more difficult once spring is sprung and the rough is rougher. in the meantime enjoy. 😁😄😆

Not a golf player but have used the club house for many a business meeting and it is first rate and very professional. my associates that do play golf though say the course is developing into a superb golfing venue.

We went to st ives as a society and were 12 strong, on a sunday afternoon, at the beginning of march. we were welcomed by the lovely staff, who were really helpful. we opted for a full english before golf and the service and the food were both very good. the gent in the pro shop was extremely helpful and everyone seemed happy for us to be there. the practice facilities were great. there is a large practice green, a short game practice area, practice bunker, and green and warm up nets. the course was in great condition a few small areas were a tiny bit wet, but on the whole, it was in great condition given the time of year. the greens were quick and true and a real challenge. the course played long and was a proper challenge, but everyone in he group really enjoyed, and quite a few of us have said about going back to have another go at it in the summer.

St ives (hunts) golf club is getting better and better every year. the course is maturing well and the fairways and greens are always in superb condition. the practise areas, clubhouse and food and drink selections are also excellent. this course will appeal to golfers of all abilities and is a good test of golf, never playing the same from one day to the next and well protected by the wind. on top of all of this, the staff and members are all extremely welcoming and friendly which in my opinion, sets this club above the rest in the county. come and see it for yourself, you won't regret it!
