Amazing!! we went and queued up for about 20-30 minutes but was well worth it, if eating in it’s just if a table is open and you go and sit down. but the pizza is gorgeous and nice for a quick fix as it comes over straight away, a must visit if coming to cambridge!
A lovely place for catching up with friends that serves paninis, pizza, and a wide selection of desserts. my hot chocolate was very good and everything was fresh. biscotti was a bit crispy. the location is on st. benet's street, the place is very busy, there's always a queue but it moves pretty quickly.
Our waitress was very kind but the service was extremely slow. seems like they were very understaffed. tables don't get cleared for a long time which makes the entire restaurant look messy and the tables are not prepped properly for the next customers (tissues, cutlery). 🍕 the pizzas first had very little flavour because of a lack of salt. once we asked for salt and added quite a bit (same happened to other customers who sat next to us) our pizza bufala and norma tasted quite nice. 🍰 the pistachio tiramisu was a small portion, very nice but nothing mind blowing. the pistachio cake had a lovely consistency and a nutty/earthy flavour. the pistachio ice cream was creamy, not overly sweet, and had a good flavour. we were offered the ice cream as an apology for the patchy service. while the desserts didn't taste bad, we did expect a little bit more after reading the reviews. we liked the cake the most out of the 3. we paid ~£33 for two pizzas and two desserts. overall an ok experience (food was good) but wouldn't visit again.
Probably the best pizza i have had outside of italy. decent portion size for a reasonable price. service was helpful and quite quick considering the restaurant was full. nice interior and not too noisy, so suitable for smaller or family groups. good variety on the menu including vegetarian and gluten free options. highly recommend.
Queue is quite long most days! but it’s worth the wait as the quality of the food here is another level to your standard pizzeria! i think the service could be a bit more quicker which would reduce wait times, maybe introduce a window queue for take out separate to the dine in section! overall the prices are quite good and the food well the pizza on sourdough is fantastic!
