The Backs

First time visit to the Backs. Amazing views across to the college's, particularly Kings College and the chapel. So much history right in front of you, and loads of photo opportunities! We were lucky enough to be invited to join some friends for a punt along the river, and what a great way to spend an evening! Well worth a visit to the area, and the parking on Queens Road is free after five, so you can catch the setting sun lighting up Kings College and the chapel.

A green oasis very idyllic except for what the birds have left, so look where you step when you walk on the path.

King's college Cambridge beautiful setting deeply rooted in the past and present

It rivals Venice, which I’ve visited twice. No punters fell in the water today, unlike my last visit. Unlike Venice, I couldn’t get access to Bridge of Sighs, due to access closed off.
