Visited here with some friends, as it was a halfway point for both of us. Free parking, the car park has a few spaces, but I would imagine it gets busy in the summer. There are lots of open fields and a park, where there would be a splash pad, unfortunately this was out of action the day we went, but I'm sure this will be fully usable in the warmer months. There are plenty of different climbing equipment, slides, zip wires, wooden areas for the kids to play on, they enjoyed playing for hours here! We then went on a walk around the edge of the park until we got to the stream, which had plenty of ducks and a sandy area near it with wooden poles to stand on, which was fun for them. The only downside, there is no café, but I think that's due to a nursery being situated near the front of the park. Well worth going with a picnic.
